I was Pema's servant and brought her clothes to try on. It took forever for her to pick out an outfit.
We got lunch in Pondy and I got a "Rocket Dosai"and some spicey stuff. Dad got all these spicey things and Pema got a regular dosai. For dinner, I got this chicken thing that people said wasn't spicey, but it was.

I like the description of your trip in Pondycherry, why cherry? also, the spicy food, or hot food, it's not like poutine...try to find poutine in India, this is a big project for you, love, mamie Francoise
ReplyDeleteHey there, Simone! We miss you! We changed our desk groups around, but that's pretty small potatoes compared to international travel!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to watch the videos. I hope you are observing, writing, playing, learning, and getting along well with your family. What an experience to have together!
Hi Simone, Pema, Monique and Daniel,
ReplyDeleteIt is exciting to see you all have arrived. Shannon was late this morning for school because we were watching all of your videos. We love the house and marveled at the large deck on the second floor. We cannot wait to see the tent you set up there.
Simone and Pema, Shannon loved watching both of you. She watched it over and over again. Pema you made her giggle with wanting to show all of the bathrooms. Simone, you have a natural poise on camera. I love your creativity. We can't wait to hear more about your life there and school. Shannon misses you dearly but is bravely trying to connect with classmates.
Daniel, I could see you doing a documentary of this. You are so photogenic and have this natural gift of explaining your surroundings.
Monique, Many bear Hugs and kisses.
Best,
Mare
