I guess I just posted a comment for you on your dad's blog. I wanted to make sure you got my message-- fabulous job sharing your trip in your blog. Glad to see you are having a real adventure.
We traveled to Mysore about 23 years ago (Yikes) we went to a animal park down there it was terrific. We were looking for elephants one time, We were just sitting on this old bus and the driver guaranteed we would see an elephant or two. After a while we got skeptical and started to talk. He told us to be quite and look to the left about 30 inches yes inches we saw this huge grey wall moving and then a little wall! It was indeed a group/pride/flock?? of Elephants!
Have you driven at night at all. When we traveled by bus we allmost always went at night because it was cooler and the Indian drivers were very scary. They would drive w/ thei lights off to save electricity and they would pass on corners. it was wild!
I particularly loved the food in India. Not the french fries or the subways or even pizza huts we saw. I do know how someone can miss familiar food!
Hey Simone!,
